In a groundbreaking development, Abu Dhabi recently hosted the Middle East's inaugural passenger-carrying drone trial as part of Abu Dhabi Mobility Week. This milestone event marked a significant leap forward in the region's transportation innovation.

The trial showcased a small-sized drone engineered to accommodate two passengers, boasting a range of up to 35 kilometers and a flight duration of approximately 20 minutes. Additionally, participants witnessed the unveiling of a five-seater drone designed for longer distances, capable of traversing over 250 kilometers with a remarkable payload capacity of up to 350 kilograms. During the trial, the five-seater drone completed a 123-kilometer journey within a commendable 40-minute timeframe.

These groundbreaking drone trials were orchestrated by Abu Dhabi Mobility in collaboration with Multi Level Group, a prominent fintech entity. Mohammed Hamad Al Dhaheri, a distinguished member of Multi Level Group's Board of Directors, articulated ambitious plans for the future.
