Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has been appointed as a minister in the UAE Cabinet, serving as the Minister of State for Youth. The reshuffle also included Mariam Al Mheiri moving to the Head of the International Affairs Office, and Dr Amna Al Shamsi succeeding her as the Minister of Environment and Climate Change. Mohammed Fadel Al Mazrouei is appointed as the Minister of State for Defence Affairs.
