Saudi Arabia is breaking new ground in luxury travel with the announcement of the 'Dream of the Desert' train service, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Middle East and North Africa region. In collaboration with the renowned Italian Arsenale Group, specialists in orchestrating opulent train journeys, Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) is poised to introduce this groundbreaking service. Scheduled to open for bookings by the end of 2024, the actual operation of the luxury train is set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025. The inaugural trips will embark from the North Train Station in Riyadh, traversing through Hail, and concluding at the Al Qurayyat train station.

Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of SAR, expressed enthusiasm for this initiative during the signing ceremony held in Riyadh.
