Sharjah, UAE, welcomes a breathtaking addition to its landscape with the grand opening of the Hanging Gardens in Kalba. This monumental project, spanning an impressive 1.6 million square feet and adorned with over 100,000 trees, stands tall at 281 meters above sea level.

Inaugurated by Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on March 8, the Hanging Gardens have already captured the hearts of residents and visitors alike. Dr. Sheikh Sultan personally toured the sprawling garden, marveling at its lush greenery, vibrant floral displays, and cascading waterfalls.

Residents of Kalba expressed gratitude towards Dr. Sheikh Sultan for his unwavering support of developmental projects in the area. The Ruler of Sharjah delighted in capturing moments with local children and exploring the central restaurant, offering seating for 215 guests and panoramic views of the gardens and waterfalls.

Designed to cater to visitors of all ages, the Hanging Gardens boast designated recreational areas for children, complete with mountain climbing routes of varying difficulty levels. Professional skaters dazzled audiences in a specially designated arena, while an excursion train offering breathtaking views through four stations adds to the allure of the garden.

Ascending to the upper reaches of the Hanging Gardens, Dr. Sheikh Sultan admired a traditional wooden restaurant building perched 270 meters above sea level, offering stunning panoramic vistas.

The project's comprehensive amenities, including ample parking, facilities for disabled visitors, electric vehicle charging stations, and a cafeteria serving light meals, ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.
