The Museum of the Future has announced the extension of its strategic partnership with Dubai Municipality, with the goal of further shaping a prosperous future for Dubai and enhancing its status as a global hub for innovators and futurists. This renewed collaboration will build upon the success of the partnership established in September 2022, focusing on the design, creation, and facilitation of emerging technologies in key sectors such as smart cities, urban planning, sustainable construction, agricultural technology, and food security.

A pivotal aspect of this partnership is the 'Tomorrow Today' exhibition at the museum, designed and curated in collaboration with Dubai Municipality. This exhibition is dedicated to exploring diverse ways in which technology can contribute to developing potential solutions for global, societal, and environmental challenges. The 'Tomorrow Today' exhibition showcases concepts, prototypes, and next-generation technology in areas such as agriculture, waste management, the environment, food security, and city planning.

His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, expressed, "The Museum of the Future is a partner for everyone who believes in a brighter and more positive future. It is for those who work to reimagine, design, and execute a better tomorrow. Our partnership with Dubai Municipality, in a short period, has swiftly led to notable advancements in developing smart cities, urban planning, and the sustainable design of cities of the future, enabling organizations to employ advanced technology and implement innovative practices for the benefit of humanity first and foremost."

Over the past 12 months, the Museum of the Future and Dubai Municipality have collaborated on various events alongside the museum's other partners, inspiring future creative thinkers to contribute to developing new solutions for a brighter and more positive tomorrow. A recent collaboration involved the distribution of 2071 Ghaf trees to visitors during the 52nd UAE National Day weekend, emphasizing a commitment to a more sustainable future. This event held significance during the UAE's Year of Sustainability, coinciding with the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) at Dubai Expo City.
